Source Methodology

Official Sources Only

All data in the Gambling License Registry is extracted exclusively from official public registers maintained by gambling regulators. We do not use Google search results, casino review sites, affiliate websites, forums, archived pages, cached pages, third-party databases, or unofficial directories.

Current Official Sources

Extraction Methods

Data is extracted using the following approved methods only:

• Rendered DOM (page content as displayed in a browser)
• Page source and embedded JSON data
• Official same-domain API/XHR/fetch responses
• Official downloadable files linked from the source pages (e.g., PDF registers)
• Official record detail pages and pagination

Data Handling Principles

No inference: If a data field is not present in the official source, it is left blank. We never invent license numbers, statuses, domains, brands, expiry dates, issue dates, or company relationships.

No classification without evidence: Domains are not classified as casino, sportsbook, lottery, or any other vertical unless there is direct evidence from the official source.

No endorsement: The presence of a company or domain in this directory does not constitute an endorsement. We do not assess quality, safety, or trustworthiness.

Update Frequency

Data is refreshed approximately once per month from the official sources. The "last checked" date on each jurisdiction page indicates when the data was last extracted. Between updates, license statuses may change at the official register without being reflected here.
